Public Notice: Florida Land Sold at Public Auction Quincy, Gadsden County, Florida
Land sold at Auction in accordance with an agreement between Thomas Smith Farms and Myers Jackson a licensed Real estate Broker and Auction Company in the State of Florida.
A total of 1039 acres has been sold in the panhandle of Florida. This 1039 acre Florida Farm was land that had been use primarily for vegetable, crop and sod production for many years. The land was contracted to sell at Public Auction April 28th, 2007 at 10:00 AM on location in Gadsden County, Florida. This area in Gadsden County is known for its nursery and vegetable production reputation (excellent soils for Tomato crops and shade tobacco in year’s past.) and the majority of farming in Gadsden County is done in Greensboro area to the north of Quincy to the Florida and Georgia State line.
All tracts of land were offered high bidders choice with 1039 acres selling to 6 registered bidders. These land tracts ranged from 16 acres to over 300 acres in size. Qualified purchasers from the local community and abroad turned out in force to get an opportunity to buy rich Florida dirt. The following is a brief overview of the turnout.
