The recent boom in Florida land sales have produced explosive numbers of
listings and tracts of land available. In turn this has opened doors for real
estate auctioneers to show their skills to produce buyers and cooperate with
Realtors. Real estate auctioneers traditionally produce a proposal in a form
that includes a detail of qualifications, suggestions on how the land should
sell, or the order the real estate auction should proceed, an outline of
marketing expenses and advertising that will be implemented into the aggressive
marketing campaign.
As a Real estate agent, a complete understanding of how the marketing process
will work is vital. There may be major differences in how the marketing campaign
is addressed. One of the main factors is the time frame and scheduling of every
placed advertisement. The point to be stressed is the urgency of the potential
buyer to make a move, bid and complete the auction. The strategic auction
schedule starts on 28-30 days prior to the auction day. Each step is carefully
applied, creating the most attention possible on the real estate being sold. The
never ending urge to compete allows the bidders to pay the highest possible
price with the best contract terms.
The goal is to produce a qualified purchaser, sign a real estate sales
contract and close the transaction within the time specified. We as Realtors
and auctioneers are in the business to see that this process is expedited
following guidelines required by organization rules and state laws. This is the
way we earn our living, let's work together to protect our business
opportunities.
