Land Auctions in Jacksonville, Florida results from April 8th Real Estate Auction

Land Auctions in Jacksonville, Florida brings lower than expected bids.

Even with a crowd of around 120 and over 30 registered bidders that produced cashiers checks to have the right to bid at this land auction. The bidders were well qualified and they were ready to pay cash. Bid started slow with the Auctioneer asking for nine hundred thousand for any opening bid and dropped all the way to 10,000 to start the bids. There is just an air of uncertainty when it comes to the Commercial Real Estate Market and the Real Estate Auction in Jacksonville showed the interest but only for today’s market prices. The Land Auctions were well advertised and achieved over four major press releases. The paid placement of ads in major newspapers was well placed and there was a massive approach with online ads, email blasts, and aggressive banner ads in the most visible Internet sites such as UnitedCountry.com.

Internet landing pages and featured article at MyersJackson.com brought attention to all the properties. Two properties sold and closed prior to the land auctions and another contracted the day prior to taking bids at the live real estate auction in Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Real Estate Auction was the largest of any land auctions in many years with over 40 million in Real Estate up at Auction. The bidders filled the room and with as many spectators the Auction was on and starting at ten o’clock with the opening terms and conditions and the auctioneers opening announcements detailed the procedures and order the properties were to be sold. By the end of the Auction out of 33 properties there were 27 that had bids and offers to purchase. Multiple contracts were written and presented to the sellers for confirmation. Results as of today are still pending and awaiting confirmation.

The Tallahassee real estate auction for Tallahassee homes conducted by Myers Jackson and his Certified Real Estate Auctions team produced results this past weekend on Saturday June 14th. The Tallahassee real estate auction was held on-site at the luxurious Moore Pond home. The band entertained the crowd between rounds of bidding and the tent was filled with qualified bidders for Tallahassee homes.
